WACWISA Master’s and PhD Scholarships for African Students are a scholarship program by World Bank (WB) and Government of Ghana (GoG) in partnership with West African Centre for Water, Irrigation and Sustainable Agriculture that offers financial support to outstanding African students to enable them pursue Master’s (MSc/MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at the University.
The program offers students financial aid to enable them pursue Irrigation and Drainage Engineering at the University.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship program, applicants must;
° submit an official/certified academic transcript from the previous University of study
° provide a copy of Identity Card (ID) or Bio-data page of National Passport
° submit a certified copy of academic certificates, with official English translation provided where necessary
° nationals of and resident in Africa
° be less than 35 years for the Masters programme
° be less than 40 years for PhD
N.B: Female candidates in the West-Africa sub-region are particularly encouraged to apply.

The scholarship award covers the following;

¶ monthly stipend
¶ living expenses
¶ accommodation
¶ travel costs
¶ Research and Learning Costs

¶ other personal incidentals
